Principal's Message

Greetings Brookville Intermediate Community!

It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the Brookville Intermediate School website.    Brookville Local Schools has a long history as an exceptional school district and I am thrilled to join this EXCELLENT place of learning.

Brookville Intermediate School serves students in grades 4 through 8 on their educational journey.  Our mission is, “…to challenge, prepare, and support all students to realize their full potential.”  We are proud to have facilities, staff, and programming that help us foster student development in a caring environment.

As always, our strong curricular focus in the classroom is evident by our continued student success and our Excellent rating achieved through the Ohio Department of Education criteria.  Additionally, the Intermediate School is pleased to provide many opportunities for student involvement.   Band, Choir and many athletic teams provide students the opportunity to perform musically and physically.  Academic clubs such as Eco-club, Art Club, Yearbook, Student Council and Robotics Club give students a chance to expand their mind through interest-based involvement.   Additionally, K-Kids and Builders club provide students a chance for growth through community service.  We encourage all students to participate in some additional way here at BIS.
