I'd like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Kirsten Page. I have been a teacher at Brookville Schools for 18 years, and a resident of Brookville for my whole life! I truly love teaching and I learn from my students every day. They are my first priority and are an inspiration.
I am a Brookville High School graduate who went on to Ohio Northern University, where I obtained my degree in psychology. After working at Dettmer Mental Health Hospital for 2 years on the child and adolescent units, I returned to Wright State University for my teaching license. I later received my Master's Degree from Marygrove College. During my years at Brookville I have taught second and third grades, keeping the same students for both grades in a "looping" classroom. I enjoy getting to know my 6-9 year olds as learners and people! I am now a Multiage teacher for our school. It has been a wonderful change and I love the three year placement with my students.
My hobbies include reading as much as possible, running with my husband, hiking the Smokies, scrapbooking, and trying to keep up with my two sons. My oldest is at Indiana University studying French horn performance, and my youngest is a sophomore here at Brookville. He keeps me busy with XC and track meets, as well as band events. I am sure you will see our family out and about from time to time!
Thank you for visiting my web page. Stop and see me in person when you come to our school!
