Students are instructed during weekly library visits to understand and appreciating literature and non-fiction books. They learn the value of taking care of library materials, how to choose books wisely, and how to use technology to find credible information.
Currently, our collection houses over 12,236 fiction and non-fiction books for the students’ academic requirements and personal reading pleasure. Students are encouraged to suggest book titles for the collection.
Additionally, over 70 computers and 3 printers are available for student use. Safe searching and top educational information is provided for the students as they learn to use credible sources to find quality information in this fast changing electronic information age.

Volunteers are a very important resource for a smooth functioning library. Volunteers are needed to help us shelve books, operate the circulation computer, clean and care for books and other library material, and help students find books. Volunteers also help with the annual book fair. Contact Mrs.Davis at firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to be a volunteer at your Brookville BIS/BHS Library.
