Connecting Classroom to Career: The Brookville Internship Program

Posted Date: 12/10/25 (04:00 PM)

At Brookville Local Schools, our mission is to challenge, prepare, and support all students to realize their full potential. In late October, Brookville High School Principal Jason Stephan led an informational session on the launch of our new Brookville Internship Program. This program is designed to connect BHS students with meaningful career paths in our own community. These partnerships allow us to provide personalized, real-world learning that goes beyond the classroom.
Highlights from the session:

  • The Vision: BHS Principal Jason Stephan presented the roadmap for connecting students and recent grads with meaningful careers right here in Brookville.
  • The Strategy: Patty Buddelmeyer from SOCHE shared valuable workforce strategies to help us build a strong pipeline of future employees.
By working together, we are tailoring the instructional environment to address the individual needs and skills of the whole child, while supporting local economic growth.
Get Involved: Are you a local business interested in becoming a partner? Please contact BHS Principal Jason Stephan (stephanj@brookvilleschools.org) to learn more.
